And then there were days where the same work felt exhausting. Not hard—just heavy. I’d stare at my screen and wonder what changed overnight.
I tried blaming motivation. Then mindset. Then myself.
What I’ve come to understand is this: women don’t operate in straight lines. Our energy moves. Our focus shifts. Our capacity changes across the month. There are days when pushing feels natural—and days when even small tasks ask for more than expected.
So, when effort feels unpredictable, it’s not because you’re lazy or broken. It’s because your body isn’t a machine—it’s a system.

Once I stopped fighting those shifts and started noticing them, work felt less like a battle. And more like a conversation with myself.
